About the Show

A Spectrum of Voices: Group Exhibition at Artemizia Foundation's Gallery 818

The Artemizia Foundation is proud to announce the opening of A Spectrum of Voices, a compelling group exhibition at Gallery 818, located in the heart of historic Bisbee, Arizona. The exhibition will run from February 8th through March 30th, 2025, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 8th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Curated by Sloane Bouchever and Sharon Stetter, A Spectrum of Voices brings together five exceptional Latina artists living in Arizona — Janel Garza, Cora Quiroz, Carmen Guerrero, Monica Gisel, and Emily Costello —each contributing their unique creative lens to explore themes of identity, culture, and human connection. This exhibition celebrates the vibrant diversity within contemporary art, offering viewers an opportunity to engage with works that span various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

“This exhibition is a testament to the power of art as a universal language,” says Sloane Bouchever, Curator and Director of the Artemizia Foundation. “Each artist’s voice resonates with authenticity, and together, they create a mosaic of perspectives that speak to the complexity and beauty of our shared experiences.”
